Nellie Bassler Passes Away

Memorial services were held on Saturday, August 28 in the Community Congregational Church for Nellie Agnes Bassler, mother of Mrs. Bud Palmer, who passed away on August 28, 1954 in Mojave.
She was born May 29, 1891 in Holbrook, Ariz. and had been a resident of Mojave for 25 years prior to moving to Boron a few months ago.
She is survived by her husband Leroy Z. of Boron, a daughter, Hazel Palmer of Mojave, two sons, Gordon H. of Mojave, Jay H. of Las Vegas and several grandchildren.
Rev. J. H. Baccus officiated over the services which were in charge of O'Donnell's Funeral Home and concluding services were held in Mojave cemetery.

Mrs. Nell Bassler Passed Away Thursday



Mrs. Nell Bassler, wife of Leroy Bassler, passed away at the Mojave Hospital on Thursday, August 26th. She had a heart attack on Wednesday morning and was taken to the hospital. While she was eating her breakfast on Thursday she was stricken again, this time fatally.



Mr. Bassler is employed by the Pacific Coast Borax Company and they were living in the PCB Trailer Court . We extend to him our deepest sympathy in his bereavement.
