Services for Manuel A. Basquez, 59, of Mojave will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept 14, in the Stickel Mortuary Chapel in Mojave with Rev. Jan Spencer and Rev. Grant Frye officiating.
Private inurnment will follow in East Kern Cemetery.
He was born Aug 28, 1923 in austin, Texas and died Sept. 10, in a Tehachapi hospital. Mr. Basquez was employed as a driller by Cal Portland Cement Company and he lived in Mojave for 27 years.
Mr. Basquez was a member of the VFW, American Legion and a veteran of World War II.
Stickel Mortuary of Mojave is in charge of the arrangements.
