Services Held For Jose R. Andrade

Mr. Jose Andrade, 64 years of age, a long time resident of Mojave and an employee of the Santa Fe Railroad for 37 years, passed away in a Barstow California hospital on Dec. 26, 1963.
He was born in Mexico on March 19, 1899 and remained a citizen of Mexico until his death.
Rosary was said at 7:30 p.m. at the St. Francis Catholic Church on Dec. 27th, and Mass was recited at 9 a.m. on Dec. 28th with Father L. Byrne officiating. Burial was in the Mojave Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Juana, of 15559 "L" Street; and three sons, Jesse and Augustine, both of Mojave and Joe of Bakersfield. He also has two daughters, Josephine Torres of Palmdale and Catalina Swadley of Pico Rivera and had 12 grandchildren.
The Stickel Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
