Mrs. Anderson Boron Passes
Hattie Clydia Anderson, 86year-old resident of 26970 Anderson St., Boron, passed away in Tehachapi Jan. 23rd.
Born March 2, 1882 in Scott County, Ill., she came to California as a young girl of 16. She and her husband Capt. Charles F. Anderson who preceded her in death several years ago, homesteaded 160 acres in 1911 near Muroc and later ran a general store there for many years. The area is now the .center of Edwards Air Force Base.
Survivors include a daughter, Arlene Millhollin of Boron, four grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 27 in Stickel Chapel with Pastor L B. Burton officiating.
Interment was in Mojave District Cemetery with arrangements by Stickel Mortuary.
