Lee M. Alabaugh, son of Charles and Alice Lackey Alabaugh, was born July 23, 1896 at Hettick, Ill., and died August 21, 1971 at Fort Dodge, Iowa, at the age of 75 years.
November 27, 1921 he was united in marriage to Lenora M. Slough. To this union was born one daughter.
He was a member of the Christian church of Denver, veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion. He moved to Haddam upon his retirement in 1961.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Joe of Liberal; nephew, Buell Schiltz of Clay Center.
He is survived by his wife of Haddam; daughter, Jody; two grandchildren; sister, Martha Schiltz of Clay Center.
Funeral services were held at the United Methodist church of Haddam conducted by the Rev. John Webster. Interment was in Haddam cemetery.
