He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Senatobia, MS. He was also a member of the Senatobia Rotary Club and pastored several churches in North MS.
He is survived by his wife, Robbie Bray Sissell of Senatobia, MS; his daughter, Sandra Thompson of Germantown, TN; his sister, Carolyn Elkin of Columbus, MS; and 1 grandson, Zach Hood of Brandon, MS.
