Mrs. Annie Coleman, wife of the late Virgil W. Coleman, early settlers of Cooter, passed away at the Chickasawba Hospital in Blytheville Thursday morning at five o'clock. She had been in ill health for some time and had been hospitalized for almost a week.

Mrs. Coleman was a member of the Church of Christ at Steele. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Everett Flowers, a granddaughter, Jessica Ann Perry, whom she reared, and also several other grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete. German Funeral Home is in charge of arangements.

Funeral services were held at the Steele Church of Christ Sunday afternoon at 2:30 for Mrs. Annie Coleman who passed away February 7, 1958 after a lengthy illness.

Bro. Alton James officiated, assisted by Bro. Chris Lyles. Interment was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery with German Funeral Home of Steele in charge.

Pallbearers wee Lawrence Little, Ralph Barber, Lewis Frazier, Paul Cooper, J.W. Neil, and Edward Faught.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Everett Flowers and six grandchildren.
