Belle Ferrell Newell, 83, formerly of Hogansville, Ga., died Tuesday, October 9, 2007, at Warm Springs Nursing Home.
Born July 30, 1924, in Randolph County, Ala., Mrs. Newell was the daughter of the late Alfred and Ada Hendley Bonner. She lived in Hogansville most of her life, was a member of Southwest LaGrange Baptist Church and was a longtime member of Antioch Baptist Church in Hogansville. She retired from Uniroyal Inc. after 44 years of service.
Survivors include her daughter, Janice Mitchell of LaGrange, Ga.; son, Lee Ferrell of Warm Springs; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m., Friday in the chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. The Rev. Bryan Geter will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
