MILDRED E. PERRY, age 76 of Willingboro, NJ, passed away on March 5, 2009.

She was born on October 11, 1932 in Ivanhoe, NC to the late Sudie (Henry) and George Herring. She was predeceased by her loving husband of forty-three years, Samuel N. Perry.

In her early 20's, she moved North, then settled in Perth Amboy, NJ where she lived most of her adult life. It was there she met and married the love of her life Mr. Samuel N. Perry on December 2, 1961.

Mildred worked for many years at Ethicon (Johnson & Johnson) in Piscataway, NJ. After retiring in 1992, she and Samuel moved to his hometown of Kittrell, NC; in 2001 they moved to her hometown of Ivanhoe, NC. Upon the death of her husband, she returned to New Jersey where she spent the rest of her years to be near her daughter and granddaughter.

She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in December 2006. She remained a faithful servant of Jehovah until her death.

Mildred was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

She was preceded in death by her brothers: George Albert Herring, Willie Graham Herring, Herman Herring; sister, Flossie Evelyn Corbett and son Robert Morris.

Mildred will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by: sister, Dorothy Lamb of Ivanhoe, NC; daughter, Angelia Herring of Burlington Township, NJ; granddaughter Marsha Addison (Marlon) of Burlington Township, NJ; grandson Stacy Samuel Johnson of Norfolk, VA; brother-in-law, O'Neal Cheatham; brother-in-law, Gilbert Perry (Alice) of New York; Sister-in-law, Pauline Perry of New York; great-grandchildren: Ashlie, Nijiera, Crista, Samuel, Micah, Stacy Jr., Marlon II; three very special friends Susie McKnight, Cora Alston and Grace Case and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
