Mrs. Hazel Cunningham, age 84, of Murray, Kentucky, died Wednesday, June 02, 2010, at 5:18 p.m. at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.
She was a homemaker, and a member of the Martin's Chapel United Methodist Church.
She was born May 23, 1926 to the late W.E. and Reba Hopkins Parrish. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her sister, Juanita Morris, and brother, William Parrish Jr.
She is survived by her husband W.A. Cunningham to whom she married October 19, 1946 in Hardin, Kentucky; two daughters, Brenda Nix and husband James, Vickie Herndon and husband Barry, three sons, Larry Cunningham and wife Susan, Randy Cunningham and wife Rebecca, Ricky Cunningham and wife Debbie, one sister, Jean Lee and husband Joe Pat, all of Murray Kentucky, twelve grandchildren, Scott Nix and wife Carrie, Trent Nix, Jeff Nix and wife Virginia, Chris Allen and wife Erin, Wesley Herndon, Tim Cunningham, Tommy Cunningham and wife Anita, Ryan Cunningham and wife Sarah, Kevin Cunningham and wife Emily, Tiffany Milam and husband Chad, Jay Phillips and Whitni Raetzel and husband James. Twelve great-grandchildren also survive.
Services will be held 2:00pm Sunday, June 6, 2010 in the chapel of The J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Rev. Eugene Burkeen and Rev. Glenn Hill will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, June 5, 2010 from 5:00 – 9:00 at the funeral home.
