Dovie Mae Brady Anderson, 78 years young, born February 13, 1934, died Friday, December 28, 2012.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 31, 2012 at Memory Chapel with burial at Sharon Cemetery in Jones County. Rev. Jamie Aultman and Rev. Curtis Pitts will officiate.

She was retired from Masonite Corporation as an equipment operator and was a member of First Baptist Church of Sharon.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hersel Anderson; mother, Nettie Carter Adams; father, Winford Adams; sister, Carolyn Holifield; brother, Ray Adams; and niece, Cindy Entrekin.

Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Scott; son, Allen Hodge; son, Larry Hodge; grandson, Johnnie (Amanda) Green; granddaughter, Cheri (Pete) Beasley; granddaughter, Miranda (Casey) West; grandson, Nathan (Amanda) Hodge; and granddaughter, Cassie Hodge; and 8 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, great grandson, and nephew, Johnnie Green, Nathan Hodge, Casey West, Pete Beasley, Austin Bohannon and Mike Hodge.

Visitation will be held from 4 until 8 p.m. Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Memory Chapel of Laurel which is in charge of the arrangements.
