Survivors: wife, Lorna of Daykin; sons, James of Fairbury, Robert and Ronald, both of Daykin; daughters, Mrs. Daniel (Carolyn) Drees, Mrs. Charles (Kathryn) Houser, both of Daykin, and Debra Hinzman of Lincoln; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Howard of Graettinger, Iowa; sister, Viola Hinzman of Fairmont; sister-in-law, Betty Hinzman of Hastings.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday, St. John's Lutheran Church, Daykin, Pastor Elizabeth Liggett. Burial: St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Daykin. Military graveside rites. Nuckolls-Meyer Funeral Home, Western.
