KING, NC ~ Louvenia Coins Inman, 80, died Sunday, April 2, 2006.

She was born April 11, 1925, in Stokes County to George Clyde and Mary Phoebe Collins Coins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie William Inman, in 1958; two sons, Jessie Ray and Roger Inman; a sister, Lucille Baker; and a brother, Joseph Coins.

Surviving are three daughters, Shelby Sands, JoAnn (Bud) Yates and Sandra (Shorty) Fulk, all of King; a son, Robert E. (Lynda) Inman of Mount Airy; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Louvenia was a member of First Christian Church in King, where funeral services will be conducted at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, with Glenn Vanmeter and Bill Truitt, ministers, officiating. The family will receive friends at the church after the service.

Burial services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 5, in Big Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Westfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Big Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Barbara Wright, 3660 Horseshoe Road, Westfield, NC 27053. (Slate Funeral Home)
