Edward J Lewi died Monday evening
at his home,17 Mohawk place. Amsterdam,
following an Illness of ten days.
Mr. Lewi was born 73 years ago In Albany,
the son of the late Dr. and Joseph
Lewi. Forty-two years ago he married
Miss Mollie Mark of Amsterdam. Mr.
Lewi was a member of Artiaian lodge
N'o. 84, F. and A. M., the Royal Arcanum
and the Free Sons of Israel. He was
also a member of the Temple of Israel.
He is survived by his two sons, Joseph
and Mark ; six sisters. Mrs. Herman
Bendell, Mrs. Al Donhauscr and Miss
Alice B. Dewl of Albany. Mrs S. W.
Cohen of this city: Mrs. M. Gluick of
New York, and five brothers, Isadore
Lewi and Dr. Maurice Lewi of New
York city. Theodore Lewi of Saratoga.
