Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon 2 p.m., at the Roberts Funeral Home for Willie B. Mordecai, better known as Bill Mordecai. He was born July 17, 1890, at Fort Cobb, Oklahoma (Indian Territory). Passed from this life February 8, 1948, at Sweet Home, Oregon. He is survived by one sister, and two brothers, Mrs. Frank Harp of Santa Maria, California; John Mordecai of Sweet Home, Oregon; Jess Mordecai of Stilwell. Aside from the above there are many other relatives. Rev. E.R. Hall of the Christian Church officiated. Interment was in the Caney Cemetery.
