SENECA FALLS - Augusta R. "Gussie" Pacelli, 85, of Troy Street, Seneca Falls, died Saturday (Dec. 12, 2009) at her residence.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday (Dec. 16) at the Doran Funeral Home Inc., 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday (Dec. 17) at the funeral home, with the Rev. James Fennessy, pastor of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, officiating. Burial will be in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls, at the convenience of the family.
If desired, contributions may be made to the Golisan o Children's Hospital, 750 E. Adams St., Syracuse 13210.
"Gussie" was born Aug. 31, 1924, in Geneva, the daughter of the late Sam and Carrie Mogavero Agnello. She was a life resident of Seneca Falls and had been employed by the former Seneca Falls Hospital. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls. She loved baking, dancing and chocolate, but most of all, she loved and enjoyed her family.

She is survived by five daughters, Martha (Harry) Liddell of Seneca Falls, Carolyn (John) Pardee of Camillus, Jean Ellen (Michael) Hearne of Annapolis, Md., Ann (James) Ricci of Seneca Falls, Kathleen Pacelli of Tonawanda; one son, Thomas Pacelli of Seneca Falls; nine grandchildren, Carolyn and Aaron (Elaine McCumski) Liddell, Jesse Rose and Jackie Pardee, Robert and Sofia Hearne, Myles and Sam Knipper, and James Ricci; one sister, Lucille (Kenneth) Cook of Seneca Falls; her many beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Sam Pacelli who died Sept. 19, 1998; two sisters, Josephine Agnello and Loretta Orlando; three brothers, Mario, Sam and Charles Agnello.
