Elizabeth was the first wife of Peter Edmund Elmendorf and mother of two daughters.

Obituary - Albany Register, Albany, NY, Monday, Feb. 26, 1798
Departed this life, on the 14th instant, Mrs. Elizabeth Elmendorf, wife of Peter E. Elmendorf, Esq. in the 27th year of her age-and on the 17th her remains were interred at Cherry-Hill, the seat of her father, Philip Van Rensselaer, Esq. Mrs. E. to a most amiable disposition, combined the requisite qualities to make herself truly beloved as a wife, mother and friend---her cheerful disposition added to a pious conduct through life, gave a still greater _____ to her character. Her death is greatly lamented.

Apparently, she was later buried in Albany Rural.
