Johnny and Mary Boggs, America's mother and dad, had moved to the Waynesburg area earlier than Floyd and America and had convinced them to come to Lincoln Co. Both Families lived at one time on the Overhead Bridge Road. The Boggs moved off the Clear Fork Road and were a tremendous influence on our childhood years. John Boggs was a carpenter and a blacksmith. Both died in horse-and-buggy related accidents and are buried in the Double Springs Cemetery.
