Florence M. Dudley, 77, 7457 18th Way North, St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away February 17, 1969.

She was born on November 23, 1891 in Brooklyn, Kings County, New York to Edward Bertram and Sarah Ida (Chattaway) Taylor.

Mrs. Dudley retired from show business after many years on Vaudeville as a singer. She also was a singer with the Ossman-Dudley Trio, where she had met her husband George Dudley. Mrs. Dudley and her husband moved to St. Petersburg, Florida 17 years ago from Lindenhurst, New York. Her husband, George Nabb Dudley, died in 1963.

Survivors include her daughter Florence (Dudley) Amberman and husband Ray of St. Petersburg, Florida; four granddaughters, Florence E. Manning and husband Dan of Miami, Florida, Shirley Guenette and husband Len of Oneonta, New York, Jean Thomas and husband Wilbur of St. Petersburg, Florida and Renee Babin and husband Jim of Beaumont, Texas; and six great-grandchildren Danny Manning, Diann, Laura, and Lenny Guenette, Janine Thomas, and Leslie Babin.

Friends may call today at the Bobbitt Funeral Chapel, 5400 66th St., N., where services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Theodore Burrell officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Park.
