Oliver Leach Faulkner, commonly known as "Little Buster," son of Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Faulkner, died at their home near Renick, June 14th, 1933, pf diabetes, pneumonia, and other complications. Little Buster was born July 30, 1925, and was therefore aged 7 years, 10 months, and 14 days. He was a patient sufferer of diabetes for nearly two years, and bore his affliction in an unusual manner. All that tender and careful hands did was without avail. His immediate family, father, and mother, and the community in general hated to give him up, but God's will prevailed, and his soul went back to God who gave it. "Little Buster" had a very fine disposition, and was very much liked by his little friends, as well as the grownups. But God wanted him to brighten his kingdom where all is delight, and sickness, also sorrow, are never known. The funeral exercises were held at the Renick Methodist Church by Rev. S. V Elkins, assisted by Rev. R.T. Bracken, of the White Oak Church, before a large audience, to pay their last respects to his body. The pall bearers were B. O. Lambert, Chris Beard, T. G. Whiting and Mildred Scott. The flower girls, in charge of, Mrs. McFerrin, paid their last respects by a large collection of beautiful flowers. After the funeral his body was laid to rest in the Renick Cemetery to await the resurrection. Among those to mourn his loss are Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Faulkner, Ray, Bruce and Edmond, his brother, also one sister, Brownie Marie, all at home.

A darling one from us is gone,
His Voice we cannot hear;
A Vacant place in our home,
The never cam be filled.
