Funeral services for Rebecca Sanders will be conducted from the Martin Funeral Chapel Saturday, January 5, at 2 p.m. Bro. Germaine Lockwood will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairlawn(sic) Cemetery.
Mrs. Sanders was born in Cameron, Mo., on April 7, 1903 and died Thursday at Moore Municipal Hospital at the age of 82. She lived in Hammon before moving to Elk City where she lived some 15 years. The past 25 years she had made her home in Oklahoma City. She was married to Carl Sanders in 1929(sic) and he preceded her in death in 1934.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Roy Chaddock, Moore; two sons, Jay Sanders of Lubbock, Tex., and Thomas Sanders; one sister, Katie Packard of Hammon; also several nieces and nephews. Besides her husnand,(sic) she was preceded in death bu one son and dAughter.(sic)
