Services For Ernest Carlson

Graveside services were held for Ernest Carlson at the Mojave Cemetery on Aug. 23.
Mr. Carlson was born in Massachusetts on April 30, 1888, and passed away at his home on Aug. 20, 1972. He had lived in Mojave for five years and resided at 15627 L St.
He had lived in Boron since 1939, and married his wife there in 1940. He worked for the U.S. Borax Co., both in Boron and in Death Valley.
He is survived by his wife, Mary, at the home; two sisters in Sweden, and a nephew, C. A. Carlson, Jr., Woburn,. Mass.
The Rev. Henry A. Fowler, Assembly of God Church, officiated at the 11 a.m. services. Stickel Mortuaries were in charge of arrangements.
