Obituary published in The Redmond Spokesman, Feb. 13, 1980:

The funeral for Ruth Sanders, 76, of 738 SW Juniper Ave., Redmond, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Skyline Memorial Gardens in Portland.
Mrs. Sanders died on Feb. 10 at Redmond Health Center.
She was born on July 7, 1903 in Forest Grove to Jess and Carrie Larsen Crossley. She married George Sanders on Feb. 7, 1939 in Vancouver, Wash.
She was a beautician for 30 years and moved to Redmond three years ago from Beaverton. Mrs. Sanders was a member of Redmond Christian Church.
Preceding her in death were three brothers and one sister.
Besides her husband, survivors include two daughters, Lavelle Stansell of Redmond and Maxine Simpson of Aloha, a son, Robert Ulshoeffer of Salem; a sister, Edna Clemmence of Riverside, Calif.; a brother Bill Crossley of Tacoma, Wash., seven grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
