Ann Marie is the daughter of William P. & Mary (David) Schopa. In her younger years, Ann Marie was a model and at one time a Las Vegas show girl. She was first married to Sergei SanMartin in 1962 and later divorced in 1968. Two children were born into this marriage, Sabrina and Mario. Her second marriage was to Joseph D. Stage on Dec. 24, 1989 in an intimate family setting at home. Ann Marie helped to raise Joe's 2 children from his first marriage along side her own 2 children. Joe's young daughter, Kimberly, would proudly say "Ann Marie is my mother and I love her". Ann Marie and Joe lived in a rural part of the Antelope Valley and were constantly finding abandoned animals. Ann Marie always had a soft spot for helpless animals and many of these animals made their way into their hearts and become long time companions. Ann Marie was a very loving and extremely giving person. She battled cancer for nearly 20 years before losing the battle.
