She owned and operated the City Restaurant in Brunswick, retiring in 1969. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Brunswick, where she had taught Sunday school, Bible school and was a member of the Women's Missionary Union.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Heyward J. Longerbeam in 1970.
She is survived by three daughters, Yonnie Longerbeam, Brunswick; Billy Faye Fawley, Brunswick; Roberta Lynn Longerbeam, Brunswick; brother, Robert W. Grims, Annadale, Va.; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held at the John T. Williams Funeral Home, Brunswick; interment in Park Heights Cemetery, Brunswick.
