María del Rosario Francisca Alviso y Butrón was the daughter of cabo (corporal) Nicolás Antonio Alviso y Duarte and Bárbara Gertrudis Butrón y Higuera (Dec. 3, bap. 7, 1794 [SCL Baptism 02741]). She was born at Mission San Juan Bautista where she was baptized on December 23, 1821 (SJB Baptism 02989). She married Juan Diego Féliz y Lobo (SG Baptism 04181-SC Death 03029) about 1837. She was the victim of a murder-suicide, dying at the hand of her husband who then killed himself. They were buried in the Campo Santo San Carlos April 9, 1840 (SC Death 03028).
