Moore, Oveita
Born May 8, 1920, a beloved, caring and loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great-Great Grandmother went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on December 2nd, 2012. She was the most amazing woman with a heart of gold and a never ending love for Jesus, her family and friends. Always willing to help anyone in need. Her love and caring ways will be extremely missed but forever remembered by her family, friends and all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by daughters Jan Moore-Acridge and Yvonne Hall, son-in-law Bob Hall, 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, 2 sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.

Oveita had a zest for knowledge and challenges, so she began memorizing poetry and scriptures at a young age and never lost her ability to recall them over all her years. Even at 92, she was able to quote those precious pieces of poetry or even entire chapters of the Bible.

A Celebration of her life service will be held Saturday, December 8, 1 pm, at Cathedral Christian Center, 16635 N 51st Ave., with visitation from 12-1 pm. Interment will be at West Resthaven Cemetery 6450 W. Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ, immediately following the services.

In memory of Oveita, please consider donations to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
