"Delta Marie Edmondson, 74, south Kansas City, died May 16, 1990, at Baptist Medical Center. She was born in Higginsville, Mo., and had lived in this area since 1959. Mrs. Edmondson was a clerk for Gateway Luggage until she retired in the mid 1970s. She was a member and former president of a chapter of Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary. Survivors include three sisters, Mae DeVoe of San Francisco, Julia Mills of Columbia, and Violet Bisig of Savannah, Mo. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor, Mo. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society." The Kansas City Star, May 18, 1990
