Tabor Farrington, Carriage Maker of Portland, Is Dead

Tabor Farrington, a resident of Portland for thirty years, died June 3 at the age of 67 years. Farrington was born in New York. He was in the carriage manufacturing industry in Albina district of Portland until ill health forced him to retire from business. Farrington was a charter member of Mount Hood Lodge No. 157 A. F. and A. M., the first junior warden of it and at the time of his death was a trustee. He was also a member of Al Kader temple and Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite.
He is survived by two brothers, William Farrington of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota and L. M. Farrington of Portland; four sisters, Mrs. Carrie Brooks and Mrs. Lizzie McGuire of Oklahoma and Mrs. Mary Mason and Mrs. Katie McDaniels of Portland.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Chambers Chapel, the Rev. W. S. Kerr officiating. Honorary pallbearers were from Al Kader temple and the active pallbearers were charter members of Mount Hood Lodge. Interment was in the Rose Cemetery with Masonic rites.

Tabor was married to Emma last name ? about 1877. They later divorced. Their children were George born Nov. 13, 1878 and died ? Erle Kimball born July 23, 1880 and died Dec. 20, 1880 of convulsions. Charles born ? and died June 13, 1882. Mary born about Oct. 1881 and died April 2, 1882 of scarlet fever. Richard born ? and died July 18, 1902.
