Nora was born in Leeds, Megantic, Quebec to Patrick Barden and Catherine "Kate" Brown. November 23rd of 1885 she married Thomas Alexander. Three children were born of this union: a son born in 1886 who died in 1886, Fred Joseph Alexander born 1888 and died 1962, and Frank Henry Alexander born in 1890 and died in 1983. Nora died of diptheria.
