Alma was reared in Bladen County (Brighton) NC. She was the beloved wife for 35 years of the late Willie L. King, and the devoted mother of Karen King and Kevin (Lenear) King. She was the cherished grandmother of Alex, Aaron, Taylor and Jordan. Surviving siblings are Robert, Edward, Jacob, Bonita and Frances. She also has 21 brothers- and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
