J. T. Alexander - RUSK - - Funeral services for J T Alexander, 48, of Rusk, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the First Methodist Church with the Rev. Jewel McClure officiating.

Burial will be in the Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of the Wallace Funeral Home.

Mr. Alexander died Tuesday night in a Rusk hospital after a sudden illness. He was a veteran of the Old Rusk Pine National Guard, an employee of the Rusk State Hospital, and was employed by the Cherokee Service Station.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dora Jo Alexander; one son, Steve Alexander of Rusk; two daughters, Sara Kaye Alexander and Lee Ann Alexander, both of Rusk; one brother, Truman Alexander of Clute; and three sisters, Mrs. Opal Wilcox and Mrs. Grace Huggins, both of Rusk, and Mrs. Johnye Miller of Tyler.

Pallbearers will be Filly Frank Pierce, Jim Pierce, Waymon Pierce, Paul Alexander, Billy Burns and Carl Carter.
