Mary Jane was the 2nd child, the first daughter born to James and Sarah Ann (McElheny) Campbell. She was born on 12 May,1836 in Lisbon,Oh. She married John N. Breen from Loogootee,In. on 11 Oct.,1865 at St. Simon Church in Washington,In. I have found 7 children born to John and Mary : J. Walter b. abt.1867, m. Minnie Riley on 15 Feb.,1891 in Martin C.; Anna b.13 Aug.,1868; Mary E.or F. b. abt.1872, m. Wm. J. Reynolds on 21 Sep.,1903 in Martin C.; Alice Brenadette b.17 Aug.,1874; Matilda C. b. abt. 1878; and John F. b. 1879. Anna, Alice, Walter and John are buried by their parents in St. John Cemetery in Loogoote. Plots B-ET003 and B-ET004

Woman well known here dies rather suddenly at Loogootee. Sister of Mrs. Harned

Mary J. Breen, sister of Mrs. F.M. Harned of this city, died rather suddenly at her home in Loogootee this morning. Her death occurred at 9 o'clock. Mrs. Breen had been in poor health several years but was not thought to be in a critical condition.
