Glenn Blair was the son of Herbert Orlando Blair ("H.O.") and Bertie Bell (Swan) Blair ("Bert" or "Bertie"). Glenn attended school in Holland, Texas (Bell county) and was valedictorian of his class. He attended the University of Texas in Austin and majored in electrical engineering. He worked on the electrical system of the B-36 bomber at Consolidated-Vultee Aircraft in Fort Worth, Texas during World War II. After this, he went into the trucking business to help his father and they hauled fruit for A & P grocery stores from the Rio Grande Valley. He owned and ran Hill Top Courts on the south end of Belton on interstate 35 (which had 10 court rooms, a gas station, and a cafe). His home was located just behind the courts. He sold insurance and was a cashier at the First National Bank in Belton. He quit the trucking business, then sold Hill Top Courts to Texaco and had a new home built on the north side of Belton around 1970. He eventually became president of First National Bank in Belton and led them through the process of building a new bank in town. During his off/ on retirement years, he worked at Cochran, Blair, and Potts and Pittman's Cleaners in Belton. Glenn died on March 14, 2005 and his ashes were scattered under a live oak tree in a field across from his home at 504 East 24th avenue in Belton.
He married the love of his life, Wanda Jeannine Digby ("Jeannine") and had five children: Gloria Jean Blair ("Jeannie"), Robert Glenn Blair Jr. ("Bobby"), William Lee Blair ("Billy"), Mary Beth Blair ("Mary"), and James Brian Blair ("Brian").
