Lena Margaret Durre, 87, of Danville, died 3:25 a.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at Provena USMC in Danville.
She was born Nov. 19, 1925 in Metropolis, Illinois to George Wesley and Annie Angeline Purcell Owens. She married Arthur Alexander Crawford on May 12, 1945. He preceded her in death. She married Kenneth Charles Durre on Dec. 12, 1969 in Danville. He preceded her on Feb. 8, 1988. She was also preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Sondra Lee Crawford; a brother, Harley Owens and three sisters, Ethel Weatherington, Nina Osborne and Mamie Housden
Survivors include three children, Doris (Don) Songer, Sidney (Diane) Crawford and Connie (Eric) Johnson; seven grandchildren, Donavan Songer, Heather Songer, Nicholas Songer, Cory (Brandy) Crawford, Aaron Crawford, Skyler Johnson and Cody Johnson; six great-grandchildren and a sister, Gracie Earles.
