She and her late husband, Timothy, owned Coughlin's Coffee Shop in Columbiana for 15 years, and Chat and Chew Restaurant, Austintown, Ohio, for 13 years. They also ran the dining room at Valley Golf Club, Columbiana, for 10 years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, also in Columbiana. Mrs. Coughlin was born in New Bedford, Pa., and lived in Youngstown, Ohio, before moving to Columbiana 48 years ago.
She was predeceased by her husband, Timothy, also known as "Jack." Surviving are a daughter, Laura Mae Eckenrode, Matawan; and three granddaughters.
