Ruth B. Michelson, age 81, of Warrenton, Mo., passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at St Joseph Hospital West in Lake St. Louis, Mo.
Ruth was born to Albert and Martha (nee-Wittman) Hesse on February 26, 1931 in Hartsburg, Mo.
She was united in marrige to Reuben J. Michelson on July 31, 1960 in Jefferson City, Mo. He preceded her in death on August 6, 2002. They celebrated 42 years of marriage.
Ruth was a homemaker. She was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ in Warrenton, Mo.
Survivors include two sons; Russell Michelson and Robert "Bert" Michelson and wife, Kwrina, both of Warrenton, Mo., one daughter, Rachell "Shelly" Wolf and husband, Joe, of House Springs, Mo., one step-daughter, Myrita Holtcamp, of Jefferson City, Mo., three grandchildren, Erika Oliveras, Keagan and Kendall Michelson, one step-granddaughter, Kelly Holtcamp, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 26, 2012 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home, 510 E. Main, Warrenton, Mo. 63383. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2012 at 11:00 A.M., at Friedens United Church of Christ in Warrenton, Mo., with burial to follow at Warrenton City Cemetery in Warrenton, Mo.
Memorials may be given to Friedens United Church of Christ or to Alzheimer's Association in c/o the funeral home.
