Florence was the only living child of Zula Bright Carnes and John Wesley Carnes. Victor Kissler said, his mother had 3 brothers that all died of Hemophelia. The gene was not passed on to his generation.
Her son Victor was a well known doctor in the Fairfield County area and her son Judson Kistler was a well known attorney in Fairfield CO.
Zula grew up on the large farm in Fairfield County. It was a showplace in the late 1800's and stayed in the family until the 1990s when Victor and his brother sold it.My great grandmother Samantha daughter of Harriet Chamberlain Stuter Bright lived there until she married and loved to go back and visit. I posted a picture of it from the 1800's on Harriet Bright's post.
