Mr. Glen A. "Buz" Hulet of Montague

Glen "Buz" Hulet, age 71, peacefully passed away on July 14, 2010 following a brief illness. He was born February 11, 1939, in Ludington, to Harold and Estelle (Haviland) Hulet. On October 24, 1964, in Superior, Nebraska, he married the former Margaret "Marge" Miller. He worked for GTE/Verizon for 33 years, retiring as Western Division Switching Services Manager in 1992. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Montague, a member of White Lake Eagles Aerie #3214 and a member of Our Lady of White Lake Chapter of Knights of Columbus. He was preceded in death by a brother, Harold "Bud" Hulet. Buz enjoyed riding his motorcycle, deer hunting, gardening, long walks, casino trips, traveling and especially spending time with his family and friends.

SURVIVING FAMILY: His wife, Marge; 3 children, Laurie (Charles) Flagstead, Mark (Janice) Hulet and Raymond (Laura) Hulet; 4 grandchildren, Kristin, Zachery, Matthew and Austin; 5 sisters, Marjorie Carlson of Nevada, Marilyn (Carroll) Sweet of California, Madeline Chmielewski of Manistee, Joan (James) Carey of Ludington and Jean (Joseph) Maloney of Manistee; brothers & sisters-in-law, Diane VanBerkom of North Dakota, Bernice Miller, Rita Miller, Betty (Jerome) Mazour, Rosemary Rowley, Alfred (Agnes) Miller, Wilfred (Helen) Miller, Bernard (Joan) Miller and Gene Miller, all of Nebraska, as well as many nieces & nephews.

MEMORIAL MASS: Friday, July 23, 2010, at 11:00 AM, at St. James Catholic Church, 5179 Dowling St., Montague, with Rev. Fr. Donn P. Tufts presiding.

VISITATION: Friday, 9:00 AM until service time, at St. James Catholic Church.
