Mary Jane Rouzer was born June 11, 1826, daughter of Daniel Rouzer, Jr. and Mary Ann Miller Rouzer. Her father died when she was 2 years old, and her mother married 2nd to Amon Thomas Norris. On March 13, 1848, in Woodsboro, Frederick County, Maryland, she married Jacob Warner, a native of Pennsylvania. They were the parents of 3 children: Susan Isabel, Mary Catharine and Lewis Jacob Warner. Mary Jane passed away February 1, 1920, in Frederick County, and she was buried the 4th in Haugh's Church Cemetery, Ladiesburg, Frederick County, Maryland.

Frederick County Marriage License issued March 7, 1848.

From the Woodsboro Lutheran Churchbook:
"1848, 13 March-- Jacob Warner to Mary I. Rouzer."

From the Frederick Post of June 24, 1916:

"ROCKY RIDGE. Mrs. George K. Geiselman visited her sister, Mrs. Mary Warner on Tuesday."

From the Frederick Post of Saturday, May 5, 1917:

"ROCKY RIDGE. Mrs. G. K. Geiselman, Mrs. Annie Whitmore and Mrs. Bertha Valentine spent Wednesday with Mrs. Mary Jane Warner, who has been on the sick list for some time."

Obituary for Mary Jane Rouzer Warner from the Frederick News-Post of Wednesday Morning, February 4, 1920:

"Mrs. Mary Jane Warner died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Whitmore, near Detour, on Sunday evening, of general debility, aged 92 years, 9 months and 11 days. The deceased is survived by one son, Louis Warner, and one daughter, Mrs. William Whitmore, both of Detour. The funeral will take place on Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock, with services at the Lutheran Church. Rev. R. S. Patterson, of Woodsboro, will officiate. M. L. Creager and Son are the funeral directors."
