Mrs. Frances Green Palmer, widow of Sydenham W. Palmer, died at 7:40 Wednesday morning of apoplexy, at the home of her son, L. B. Palmer, of Delaware Water Gap. Mrs. Palmer was born in Orange, New York, on July 25, 1841, being 68 years, 3 months and 2 days old. Her maiden name was Frances Green. She was married to the late Sydenham W. Palmer in Stroudsburg on Feb. 3, 1857 and resided throughout her married life at this place. Mrs. Palmer is survived by two brothers and three sisters who are respectively: George W. Green and Wesley Green, of Hamilton Township and Mrs. Jane Kresge, of Scranton; Mrs. John Wesley Hobbs, of Paradise and Mrs. Alice Arndt, of Bangor.
