Robert de London is the illegitimate son of William I 'the Lion', King of Scotland and
Isabel Avenal.
His daughter Amabel married Thomas Nisbit. Their second great grandson was Murdock Nisbet who wrote a complete translation of the New Testament from Wycliff`s version into the Gaelic or (Scots) which Murdock completed in 1510.
