Benjamin Franklin Dail (5/21/1876 - 9/8/1912) married Laura Griffin. They had two children:
1) Luther Davis Dail. Luther was adopted by a preacher named Forbes, later to be Luther Davis Forbes. He married Ora Giles in 1925. They had a daughter named Carolyn Sue.
2) Lillie Mae Dail. Lillie was adopted by a family named Dail, so her name stayed the same. She married Glaucus Winer Lewis on May 25, 1919 in Wilson, NC. He was born Dec 31, 1895 in Wilson, NC. He died Feb 2, 1943 at 47 years in Camp Pendelton in Virginia Beach, VA of a heart attack.
They had nine children:
Glaucus Winer, Jr. born Mar 10, 1920 in Raleigh, NC. He died Sep 14, 1921 in Wilson, NC at the age of 18 months, 4 days.
Nellie Belle born Apr 6, 1922 in Raleigh, NC.
Harry Jacob born Oct 18, 1924 in Raleigh, NC.
Carl Ray born Jan 18, 1927 in Wilson, NC.
