Chicago, the gentle soul.
Brother to Pauley. (The boys) I met Chicago the day he was born.
Named for his "white socks".
He was never mad. He never hissed, he never grawled. He only wanted to be on someone's lap. He didn't have a mean bone in his body. He lived to be quite the old man. He was sick for the last 2 years of his life. So many trips to the vet and so many tests and treatments that helped for awhile. His doctor said he probably had cancer, but we could just never find it. So, those last 2 years was mostly about keeping him feeling good as much as possible.
We had to let him go when it started to seem that he had more bad days than good. His last day was a good one, and he passed peacefully while being at his favorite place-my lap.
Chicago was the third loss for us in a 7 month span. 2010 was not a good year.
