Benjamin Rowe and Sarah Muttit were married on the 9th of November 1819 in Stradbroke, Suffolk, England. They immigrated to Canada in 1830 with their four eldest children; Eliza Ann, Robert, Sarah, and Benjamin. After they arrived and began their new life, home and farm near Courtice in Darlington township, they were blessed with five more children namely; Willam, James, Thomas, John, and Elizabeth.
