Cecil Reinstra, 77, of Anacortes died Monday, Sept., 1989 at home. He was born on July 22, 1912 in Oak Harbor, the son of John and Willamina Reinstra. He grew up on Whidbey Island and attended school there. Travelling with his father around the Northwest, he learned the masonry trade. Then he worked for Civil Service at Whidbey Island Naval Air Station. He was also a member of the Anacortes Eagles Club.
Cecil was prededed in death by his son Donald G. Reinstra; three brothers, George Reinstra, Ed Reinstra, Wilfred Reinstra and his sister Genny Goodwin. He is survived by his ,sisters, Josephine of Bellingham, Louise of South Whidbey, Viola of Oak Harbor, Theresa of Moses Lake; one brother, John of Sedro-Woolley; and long-time companion Mabel O'Brien of Anacortes and her family.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
