Funeral services for Miss Louise Maertz, who died suddenly Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence, 327 Elm street, and were conducted by Minor M. York, first reader of the Christian Science church. The house was filled with sorrowing friends, for Miss Maertz was one of the most highly esteemed residents of the city. The remains were taken to St. Louis, this morning for cremation.
