My grandmother taught me to love by giving me love. She sparked an interest in family history by sharing her memories and teaching me "Her Mothers". Nannie taught me to respect the dead and to honor their memories. It is in memory of Nannie that I give my very limited time, buy over priced gasoline, and calmly accept my speeding tickets as I travel off the beaten path in search of the final resting place of someone else's relative.
