I believe that the present must document the past because that is what educates the future. What we learn and remember of our ancestors can not only benefit us, but maybe provide our children better lives, better health and maybe the knowledge to make sound decisions for the future.
It is a true passion for me to do my genealogy. Even though my ancestors do not know of me, I can say that I am not only proud but honored to know of every one of them. Whether they were of royalty, fought in a war, or were a farm laborer, without any of them, I wouldn't be here. I also want to thank Find-A-Grave for providing such a service. It not only allows us documents the past but it's a place where you can have a solemn moment just visiting a friend or a loved one.
