Flowers left for Joseph Bridger
With deep respect and humility, I now leave this for my many great grandparents, Col Joseph and Hester Pitt Bridgers. As a young child, I came from a broken family, that has a great grandmother and grandfather names Sarah Jane Alice "Sallie" Bridgers and John William Nelson, Jr, born 1842 and 1852, respectively. Having a broken family I did not know anything hardly about even my paternal family, let alone all of my grandparents, and great grandparents. Since 1990's, that has long been corrected. Long last, I know of each one of you, and now I place myself and siblings where they rightfully belong. As a United States Marine and Vietnam Veteran, I stand in awe at who you were, what you did, and your career and life you had. I am proud to be a great grandson, of many times, and to know you did all you could for this fledging country we call the United States, during the Revolutionary War. Salute, Sir, for I am proud to be one of your many great grandsons. Sgt Raymond Lee Britt, USMC Vietnam War Veteran (1965-1966) Cold War Veteran Virginia Police Worker Veteran Wisconsin Deputy Sheriff Veteran Selected Wisconsin State Trooper
